Problem Description
Content Services Gateway (CSG) stops forwarding traffic and does not failover to standby.
Background
This issue may occur over time if running L7 traffic with type HTTP policies due to error events such as client or server issuing a TCP reset prior to the first HTTP GET request.
Problem Symptoms
It is possible to monitor for this condition by viewing the "Outstanding sessions" statistic counter. If it is slowly increasing over time, all traffic will cease being forwarded once it reaches 65535 . The counter is viewable with the show module csg tech-support processor 2 command.
Workaround/Solution
It is recommended to force a failover with the command hardware mod reset command prior to exhausting all sessions until the fix for this defect is released.
