Problem Description
The IDS 4.1(4) Service Pack was posted to Cisco.com on May 6, 2004. This service pack addresses numerous bugs that are impacting customers in the field. Customers are encouraged to upgrade their IDS product software to 4.1(4) Service Pack to resolve their existing issues and avoid potential problems.

Background
Some of the issues 4.1(4) SP addresses may appear to be hardware issues, which can lead customers to go through the inconvenience of getting their product RMA'd without getting the real issues resolved
Problem Symptoms

Workaround/Solution
Upgrade IDS software to the latest Service Pack v4.1(4). The name of the SP file is IDS-K9-sp-4.1-4-S91.rpm.pkg. The file was posted on Cisco.com on May 6, 2004.
