Problem Description
The Cisco MeetingPlace server hangs on its way down while taking down the snmpd module. This can happen during a system restart or when the server is taken down for maintenance.
Problem Symptoms
This can extend the length of an outage because the system does not automatically recover.
Workaround/Solution
WORKAROUND:
None
SOLUTION:
Apply the sim and snmpd hot fix that is available in MeetingPlace software 5.1.0 version 5.1.0af and above, and MeetingPlace software 5.0.2 version 5.0.2y and above. Contact the Cisco MeetingPlace Technical Assistance Center to download.
