Cisco MeetingPlace Server 8112 (M3) |
Versions 5.1.0x and 5.0.2q |
Problem Description
Cannot establish a telnet or MeetingTime session after connecting to an M3 through the Modem. The Modem will accept data, but it does not transmit any data. This is caused by snmp trap messages sent to the modem that the modem does not expect to receive, thus placing it into an unknown state.
Problem Symptoms
Cannot troubleshoot the issue in a timely manner when this occurs.
Workaround/Solution
Apply the snmpd and snmpd.conf hot fix that is available in MeetingPlace software 5.1.0 version 5.1.0af and above, and MeetingPlace software 5.0.2 version 5.0.2y and above. Contact the MeetingPlace Technical Assistant Center to download.
