Cisco MeetingPlace Server 8112 (M3) |
R5.0.2q and R5.1.0x |
Problem Description
In a lecture-style meeting, a speaker who outdials from Cisco MeetingPlace Web or MeetingTime to join the meeting is being treated as a guest/listener. Instead of being placed in the Main room, the speaker is put into the waiting room.
Problem Symptoms
Users cannot make use of the outdial feature from Cisco MeetingPlace Web and MeetingTime to attend a lecture style meeting as a speaker.
Workaround/Solution
WORKAROUND:
Call in directly to the Cisco MeetingPlace Server instead of outdialing from Cisco MeetingPlace Web or MeetingTime.
SOLUTION:
A "vui" hot fix is available in 5.0.2t and 5.1.0z. Please contact Cisco MeetingPlace Support (TAC) to apply this hot fix.
