Problem Description
Note: This Field Notice is a legacy Latitude Field Notice that has been converted to the Cisco format so the information would remain available to their customers.
Users with profile numbers longer than 9 digits will not be able to start a reservationless meeting. When they attempt to start a reservationless meeting, they will get the following prompt and get disconnected from the system:
"We are unable to start a meeting at this time. Please try again later"
The error log ("errorlog -s info -l") will show the following statement
01/10 11:48:01 INFO 0x30129 0/8, "vuiactconf2.cc", 5910 (0x144e, 0x38, 0x144e,0)
Personal meeting failed because could not schedule: Erc 5198
Where Erc 5198 translates to "Specified meeting ID length greater than maximum allowed".
Problem Symptoms
Users with profile number longer than 9 digits will not be able to start a reservationless meeting.
Workaround/Solution
WORKAROUND
Customers who use the reservationless feature should limit the length of their users' profile number to 9 digits or less.
SOLUTION
This will be fixed in the next major release.
