Problem Description
Note: This Field Notice is a legacy Latitude Field Notice that has been converted to the Cisco format so the information would remain available to their customers.
Some systems might encounter span activation problems following a restart. When this problem occurs, the spans might appear as up but no incoming or outgoing calls can be handled on the span. For example no alarms are present.
Problem Symptoms
The user might not have access to the system to conduct voice conference because the span was not activated.
Workaround/Solution
WORKAROUND:
Unplugging the T1 lines, waiting 20 seconds, and plugging it back in will correct the problem.
SOLUTION:
There is a hot fix available for 5.0.2q. Please contact Cisco MeetingPlace Support (TAC)to apply the hot fix (biz3fw.bin).
