Problem Description

Note: This Field Notice is a legacy Latitude Field Notice that has been converted to the Cisco format so the information would remain available to their customers.

After Meeting Console is loaded, user got a Dr. Watson

Exception access violation (oxc0000005), Address:0X 1205495a

and NT eventlog shows Internet Explorer exception caused by egieengine.dll

Problem Symptoms

Cannot do any data conference (DC) because Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) will close Meeting Console

Workaround/Solution

Remove the Gator software, using the Add/Remove Programs will resolve the problem.

Gator may be bundled with Real Audio Player download package, or it may be bundled with other programs that you download from the Internet.

If and when you encounter this program on the internet, do not download or install it on your computer.
