Cisco MeetingPlace E-mail |
4.2.1.23 or earlier |
Problem Description
Note: This Field Notice is a legacy Latitude Field Notice that has been converted to the Cisco format so the information would remain available to their customers.
International customers will usually change the default MeetingPlace Server settings to their respective countries language. The SMTP server should send out notifications using the default server language. Instead SMTP processes notifications using English characters even if the default language is not English.
Problem Symptoms
Notifications will be delivered in English instead of the International language the server is configured to use as default language.
Workaround/Solution
-
Download the MeetingPlace SMTP 4.2.1.34 hot fix from the Customer Support Resource Center.
-
Stop the MeetingPlace SMTP and Notification Gateway service.
-
Run the MeetingPlaceE-mailGateway.exe to install the new SMTP gateway.
-
Restart the gateway machine.
