Problem Description
Note: This Field Notice is a legacy Latitude Field Notice that has been converted to the Cisco format so the information would remain available to their customers.
SMTP fails to connect to SMTP host after second disclaimer is passed.
Problem Symptoms
The notifications will not be sent out because the connection to SMTP host will fail.
Workaround/Solution

Download the MeetingPlace SMTP 4.2.1.20 hot fix from the Customer Support Resource Center.

Stop the MeetingPlace SMTP and Notification Gateway service.

Rename the MPSMTP.exe file to MPSMTP.exe.old in the following folder :\Latitude\MeetingPlace E-mail Gateway\

Copy the new MPSMTP.exe to :\Latitude\MeetingPlace E-mail Gateway\ folder

Start MeetingPlace Notification Gateway service.
