Problem Description
Note: This Field Notice is a legacy Latitude Field Notice that has been converted to the Cisco format so the information would remain available to their customers.
On a 5.0.0af system, M3 Server ONLY, callers complain that they cannot hear each other when speaking in a MeetingPlace meeting. This is caused by an error in the MSC firmware. During this time, a set of two alarms are generated on the M3 system:
MIN 0x901a0 (TVAPIHndlr)TVAPI MSC FW Error,Card=0,Port=12, type=15 MAJ 0x901aa IP Call Handler pending request not found
The second alarm, IP Call Handler pending request not found, gets generated even though the customer may not have an IP Blade on their M3 server.
Problem Symptoms
Meeting participants have to disconnect from the MeetingPlace meeting and call back another time.
Workaround/Solution
WORKAROUND
Restart the system
RESOLUTION
A hot fix for 5.0.0af is available. Contact Cisco Support Center if you need to have this applied. This will be incorporated into the next release. For example 5.0.1 and later.
