Problem Description
Note: This Field Notice is a legacy Latitude Field Notice that has been converted to the Cisco format so the information would remain available to their customers.
On occasions, when Real Producer 8 Plus fails to convert a real audio file it will write a rmbatch.disabled file to the :\Program Files\Real\RealProducerPlus directory. This file will prevent future conversions from occurring.
Problem Symptoms
Users will see "Processing nowc" when they try to access real audio recordings from the MPWeb.
Workaround/Solution
WORKAROUND:
Remove the rmbatch.disabled file and restart the "MeetingPlace Audio Service".
SOLUTION:
FA00216 hot fix is available from CCO. This will also be fix in the next MPWeb release.
Installation Instructions:

Download the FA00216.zip hotfix from CSRC.

Stop the MeetingPlace Audio Service.

Locate the mpaudsvc.exe. It should be in :\Latitude\mpweb\audiosvc file and rename it to mpaudsvc.exe.old

Unzip the FA00216.zip file. There should be a file called mpaudsvc.exe.

Copy the new mpaudsvc.exe file to the :\Latitude\mpweb\audiosvc directory.

Start the MeetingPlace Audio Service.
