Problem Description
Note: This Field Notice is a legacy Latitude Field Notice that has been converted to the Cisco format so the information would remain available to their customers.
When a user schedules a meeting and invites another user that is in a different time zone, the subject line in the notification that the invitees receive will contain the incorrect time zone and meeting time information.
Example of an incorrect subject line:
Invitation - AVERY Test 2 (25 July 04:00 AM ZE10)
Problem Symptoms
Meeting notifications contain the wrong time in the subject line when scheduler is in a different time zone than the invitee.
Workaround/Solution
Download FA00173.zip hotfix from CCO.
Installation Instructions:

Unzip FA00173.zip. There should be two files, LNNotify.exe and mail509mp_fa00173.ntf.

Stop the following services:
MeetingPlace Notes Gateway and MeetingPlace Notification Gateway.

Find LNNotify.exe on the MeetingPlace for Notes gateway machine. It is usually in :\latitude\MeetingPlace for Notes. Rename the existing one to LNNotify.exe.old and then copy the new one to that location.

This Step should be perform by the a Domino Administrator. Install the new mail template, mail509mp_fa00173.ntf, on the domino server and redistribute the template to end users and the lotus user for the MeetingPlace for Notes gateway machine.

Start the services that were stopped in step 2.
