Problem Description
Note: This Field Notice is a legacy Latitude Field Notice that has been converted to the Cisco format so the information would remain available to their customers.
Major issues:
-
MeetingPlace server reports Outlook Gateway Failed.

MPAgent 4.2.5.53 lost connection to MeetingPlace server.
-
Longer strings for gateway logging needed in GWSIM eventlog.
-
Installers do not check for interfering processes.
-
MeetingPlace Web 4.3 fails to log in with 4.2 GWSIM.
Problem Symptoms
Communication lost with the MeetingPlace server, possibly affecting service, but generating alarms.
Workaround/Solution
Restarting the MeetingPlace services or rebooting the Gateway machine will tempoarily resolve the issue.
These issue ares fixed in GWSIM 4.2.1.25.
Steps to install GWSIM 4.2.1.25:

Download the new GWSIM from the CCO.

Stop all MeetingPlace services.

Unzip the files into a new temporary folder.

Run the setup.exe.

Select Modify when given the option.

Note:?If you receive a timeout, just click OK and the install will continue without issue.

After the install has completed, reboot the Gateway machine.
