Problem Description
Some building-to-building site survey kits were shipped with bridges that do not contain full bridge functionality.
Background
For a specific number of kits, access points labeled as bridges were shipped. These bridges did not contain all of the necessary options in the web browser configuration pages.
Problem Symptoms
The unit is labeled as a 350 Series Bridge, but the Role in radio network pull-down menu on the Express Setup web page does not list root and non-root bridge options. Affected units are only those containing the serial numbers listed in this notice.
Workaround/Solution
This issue is bound by the specific serial numbers listed in this notice. Units within the serial number range that experience these symptoms should be returned to Cisco using the return materials authorization (RMA) process.
