Introduction

Configure

By default, only one region exists, Default. In order to configure an additional region, Remote, complete these steps:

  1. Choose System > Regions > Add a New Region.

  2. Specify the codecs that are used between these two regions and within each region.

    Note: The San Jose office is placed in the Default region, and RTP is placed in the Remote region. Between San Jose and RTP, use G.729 codec for bandwidth savings. Within the sites, use G.711.
