-
Enter this MAC address in the MAC Address field for the Software Conference Bridge Info.

Cisco MeetingPlace 8 Usage Parameters
Select System Configuration > User Configuration > Reservationless Meetings.
Make sure that you set Enable reservationless meetings to Yes. When a meeting gets scheduled via WebEx, it is reservationless only.

Cisco MeetingPlace 8 Meeting Resource Parameters
During the installation “Express Media Server” was selected. Do not change this unless you plan to move to a Hardware media server.

Make sure that Enable ad-hoc video is set to Yes.

Set the reservationless ports high enough since if a meeting gets scheduled via WebEx it is reservationless only. Save the changes.

Configure the Cisco MeetingPlace 8 Directory
Complete these steps in order to configure the Cisco MeetingPlace directory:
-
Go to the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Administration Center and select User Configuration > Directory Service > Directory Service Configuration in order to access the Cisco Unified CallManager Directory via AXL.
The AXL user ID used here is a user in Cisco Unified CallManager with AXL rights. Typically, you can use ccmadministrator or any other Cisco Unified CallManager user with AXL rights.
-
Enter your AXL user ID and password. Once you enter the user ID/password and the AXL URL, click Save in order to save the configuration.

Once the sync finishes, MeetingPlace shows the users from the Cisco Unified CallManager database:

Configure a Cisco MeetingPlace 8 User Group
Complete these steps in order to configure a Cisco MeetingPlace 8 user group:
-
Select System Configuration > User Configuration > User Group > Edit User Group. Make sure to set Use reservationless to Yes. This is due to the fact that when a meeting gets scheduled via WebEx, it is reservationless only.

-
In order to finalize the Cisco Unified CallManager configuration, from the Cisco Unified CallManager administration pages, go to System > Service Parameters > CallManager (Active) > Clusterwide Parameters (Feature – Conference) and set Minimum Video Capable Participants to 0.

Configure the Cisco MeetingPlace 8 and WebEx Integration
Complete these steps in order to ingrate Cisco MeetingPlace 8 with WebEx:
-
From your web browser, go to your WebEx login page. In this example, the URL is https://brussels-ciscolab.webex.com/admin. Enter your User name and Password and click Log in.

The Welcome page appears:

-
Under Manage Users, click Add User in order to add an admin user on the WebEx site.

-
Select Site administrator in order to add the admin user as a Site administrator.
Note: UserName = admin. Do not call it anything else. Meetingplace 8 is hardcoded to use "admin". The integration will fail if this user is not there or called something differently.
Note: The password which you select can be different than the one you use for logging into the MeetingPlace web GUI. However, the password you enter here must match the one you configure in MeetingPlace within the WebEx integration part.
Once the user is created, click the Add button in the bottom right-hand corner:

-
Select System Configuration > Flex Fields Configuration > Cisco WebEx Configuration > Cisco WebEx Site and Server in order to set the password for the previously configured WebEx admin user as outlined in step 3.
The Cisco WebEx site version says T26 if you have not finished the rest of the Configuration screens. This is normal. In order to have it move to T27, complete the remaining steps in this procedure.

-
On the Webex Site, click on Site Settings and make sure the Site is setup for a MeetingPlace Integration. Here, Brussels-ciscolab.webex.com site is setup for MeetingPlace Integration:

-
On the WebEx Site, click on Site Settings and navigate to the section Productivity Tools. Select Productivity Tools > Installation Options and uncheck Automatically install Productivity Tools when hosts log in to the site.

-
On the Application Server Administration page, go to the Cisco WebEx Certificate page and click Create Certificate.
The first link now appears as a URL where you can download the certificate. Create the certificate first and upload it to the local PC. Click on first link, which allows you to save the certificate locally.

-
Click Save in order to save the certificate locally.

-
Import the MeetingPlace 8 certificate you just created on MeetingPlace in the WebEx site.

-
After the upload completes, click on the Site Certificate Manager hyperlink in order to view the certificate.

-
Go to the Application Server.
-
From Cisco WebEx Site and Server, set the correct Cisco WebEx site administrator password and reset the TSP. This results in the TSP Primary host getting the IP address, as this screen shows. Also, the WebEx site version changes from 26 to 27.

Integrate the Directory with SSO
This MeetingPlace implementation includes a directory service integration with SSO. This allows MeetingPlace users to login to the WebEx site with a single sign-on (SSO) while starting on the MeetingPlace site (http://<appservername/appweb).
Configure the Directory with SSO Enabled
Complete these steps in order to configure the directory with SSO enabled.
-
Go to your WebEx site and select Site Settings.
-
Check Allow user to store personal information for joining meetings and call-back.
-
Set the default WebEx Target Page URL to http://site.webex.com and check that the SSO service login URL and SSO error URL point to the correct application server.
If these values are not correct, contact WebEx support because the site has not been provisioned correctly. The Hostname in the site must match the appserver hostname.

Once a user is logged in on MeetingPlace, this automatically creates a corresponding user account on the WebEx site. It is not necessary to import any user accounts on WebEx for a directory service integration. In this example procedure, there are two users on the MeetingPlace system named Alfa and Beta:

-
From WebEx Site Administration (edit user list), you will notice that user Beta does not appear in the User list.

-
Navigate to http://<appservername>/appweb and login with your username and password.
Note: Your profile needs to contain an email address or this error message appears:

-
Login to Cisco Unified Meeting Place as user Beta.

-
MeetingPlace directs you to the WebEx site where you can now schedule meetings using the WebEx interface.

-
Upon successful login to Cisco Unified MeetingPlace, user Beta is also now added to the WebEx site:

Verify
There is currently no verification procedure available for this configuration.
Troubleshoot
Use this section to troubleshoot your configuration.
Problem: There is a Communication Error on the WebEx Site and Server
Complete these steps in order to resolve when a communications error appears on the WebEx Site and Server:

-
Go to the log file at /var/mp/web/root.out, appweb.out.
-
Look for this Http communication error:
