Complete these steps in order to access the setup page for NSS2050:
If there is no DHCP server present on your network, configure your computer's network settings as follows: 169.254.x.y (where x and y can be any number between 1 and 254). For example, 169.254.1.2.Subnet Mask 255.255.0.0. If you have a DHCP server, check the DHCP address assigned to the device. You may access the NSS2050 by typing http://<NSS2000-ip-address> (e.g., http://192.168.146.253). Proceed to Step 4 if you have a DHCP server.
Write down the MAC address located on the sticker attached to the bottom of the NSS2050 unit.
Open a web browser on your computer and enter the following in the Address field: http://<NAS-MAC-address-of-NSS-unit>.
In the Login window, enter admin in the User name field and admin in the Password field. Click OK. The NSS configuration interface appears and the configuration wizard automatically begins.
Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the basic configuration. After completing the basic configuration, change the administration password as described in the NSS2050 Administration Guide.
