Ideally suited for fiber access for Commercial Services, they provide a cost-effective method for extending commercial network services over a point-to-point fiber connection between the service provider's headend or hub and the customer premise.

The Prisma Media Converter series are part of a suite products including BroadLAN and Prisma IP, integrated under a common management system, Scientific Atlanta's ROSA Network Management and Control system.
