Innovation for the Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series

Cisco IOS Software Release 15.0(1)SY is the first extended software maintenance release designed exclusively for Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series Switches using Supervisor Engine 2T. The release inherits features from Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2(50)SY and adds more than 70 new software and hardware features.

Release 15.0(1)SY is the first in a series of Cisco IOS Software 15 releases for the Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series. While maintaining all functionality available in previous releases, it introduces code sharing between the Catalyst 6500 Series and other Cisco routing and switching platforms.
