Q. How do I change the network name currently used by my wireless network?A.
Note: Changing the router's wireless network name or SSID is one way of securing your wireless network. You may use any name you prefer for your router's SSID but make sure you are familiar with it since this will identify your wireless network from the rest. In order to change the wireless network name of your Cisco Small Business router, complete these steps:
Change the Router's Wireless Network Name
Access the router's web-based setup page. For instructions, click here.
When the router's web-based setup page opens, click Wireless.
Look for Wireless Network Name (SSID), and change it to your desired name for the wireless network.
