Product Migration Options

As the IGX-LSC-72 and the BPX-TSC-72 include the same hardware and software, it is not required to replace hardware or to upgrade software. The service contract is associated with the CISCO7204VXR=, which is included in the IGX-LSC-72 as well as in the BPX-TSC-72 bundle. No action needs to be taken to have further MPLS support through an external label switch controller on the Cisco IGX 8400 series.

The Cisco BPX-TSC-72 bundle includes the same hardware and software as the Cisco IGX-LSC-72 bundle. Both bundles provide the same functionality. Please see: products_configuration_guide_book09186a00800ee105.html for Cisco BPX-TSC-72 details.

For IGX-URM, please see: products_configuration_basic_chapter09186a00800c7007.html for details.
