External Q&A URL:
Q. Is this an EOL for the ATA series or any of the ATA hardware models?
A. No, this is a "housekeeping" EOL to end support for old versions of the ATA software that no end user should be using.
Q. I already have version 2.14 running on my ATAs; do I have to purchase another license to upgrade to version 2.15 or later?
A. No, there are no additional fees for upgrading your software. Indeed, Cisco recommends that, wherever possible, you run the latest released software on your ATAs.
Q. Does this EOL announcement affect the default, boot load image that Cisco ships with the ATAs from the factory?
A. No, the default factory image is unaffected.
