C6920-DHEI-I/O card. Milestones are listed below:
Hardware Products Affected
This announcement applies to both option and spare versions of the
Cisco C6920-DHEI-I/O card.Substitute Products
The Cisco C6920-DHEI-I/O-C card, which has shipped for the past year, replaces the Cisco C6920-DHEI-I/O card. This newer card provides the same basic three input and one output capability and DHEI clocking support for 64 Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) as the Cisco C6920-DHEI-I/O card. In addition, the newer card supports 256 QAM clocking rates. Both cards are priced the same.
Software and Hardware Support
Cisco is committed to providing software support for the C6920-DHEI-I/O card in RateMUX software releases during the next two years and for hardware support for the next five years. For those customers with support contracts which include advance replacement of hardware, the Cisco C6920-DHEI-I/O-C card will now be used. This newer card is supported on all systems running 2.3A RateMUX software and above.
