Secure OS Imaging and Management Tool
Cisco VXC Manager provides secure OS imaging and management through a host of features designed to take the work out of managing thousands of thin clients remotely, securely, and effectively.
To provide a highly secure and scalable network architecture, Cisco VXC Manager provides full HTTPS-encrypted1 traffic and the ability to use multiple remote software repositories to optimize network bandwidth.

New features in Cisco VXC Manager 4.9 include the following:

– Set recurring schedules for common tasks like shutdown and wake on LAN (WOL)
– Reduce energy consumption by shutting down endpoints during non-operational hours
• Enhanced Actve Directory Integration
– Assign administrators and AD groups to manage a subnet of clients
• Smart scheduling:
– Deploy OS/firmware updates, configurations and software based on the timezone of endpoint devices or based on timezone of the administrator's GUI console
• Flexible: WAN-capable imaging and enhanced asset management
– Supports fully qualified domain names (FQDNs)
– Adds new asset management information collection and display
• Central tracking, management, and support
– Supports asset tracking: Cisco VXC Manager provides detailed hardware and software assets information of your VXC devices, helping you gauge the health and performance of each device, avoid potential problems, and plan for change or growth

– Supports device configuration: Cisco VXC Manager Default Device Configuration (DDC) enables administrators to issue, manage, and update polices automatically across an organization. Devices can be arranged into logical groups, each with its own configuration settings locally or globally

Cisco VXC Manager is a server-based application and is licensed per VXC endpoint. Cisco VXC Manager licenses are added when placing Cisco VXC 2111, VXC 2112, VXC 2211, VXC 2212 or VXC 6215 endpoint orders.
