INTRODUCTION
Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for the Cisco® uMG9820 QAM Gateway as of March 18, 2005. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement. Customers who purchased this product are entitled to a full refund (or credit on future purchase) of the purchase price, including accessories, during the return period of March 18, 2005-June 17, 2005. Customers who purchased a service contract for the Cisco uMG9820 QAM Gateway are entitled to a prorated refund (or credit on future purchase) of the service fee based on the term of the service contract. Cisco will work with those customers using the Cisco uMG9820 QAM Gateway in a production environment and help identify the best migration plan on a case-by-case basis. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.
