PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Cisco IOS® Software release train 12.3BC provides support for the ubr7100, ubr7200 and ubr10k (PRE1 and PRE2) platforms. New features, bug fixes, and software support for these platforms can be found through regular releases of the Cisco IOS Software 12.3BC train.

TRAIN PARENT AND MIGRATION GUIDE

Figure 1 below displays how Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3BC functions relative to the Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3 train. The Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3BC train is the migration path for the Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2BC train. This means that all features and bug fixes from the Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2BC train will be available in the Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3BC train. Also, all support from the Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2BC train is now provided in the Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3BC train.
The Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3BC train is based upon the Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3 train. This means that all bug fixes available in the Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3 train will be available in the Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3BC train.
New features released in the Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3BC train will migrate and be released in a future releases of Cisco IOS Software 12.2S. This migration path for future support beyond the Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3BC train will be detailed in an updated version of this product bulletin, once determined.

NEW FEATURES

New features will be available for the ubr7100, ubr7200 and ubr10k platforms in the many releases of Cisco IOS Software 12.3BC. For specific items available in each release, please see the Cisco IOS Software 12.3BC release notes, available at:
