Use the Installation Guide That Matches the Cisco Unity 8.x Configuration
Published February 2, 2010There are four versions of the Installation Guide for Cisco Unity Release 8.x, each containing instructions for a specific configuration. Use the list below to confirm that you are using the correct version of the guide for the Cisco Unity version 8.x configuration that you are installing.

Installation Guide for Cisco Unity Release 8.x in a Unified Messaging Configuration (With Microsoft Exchange and Without Failover)
This version of the guide is for a Cisco Unity Unified Messaging server running version 8.x, and using Exchange 2007 or Exchange 2003 as the partner Exchange server. The server is not configured for Cisco Unity failover.
Use this guide when any Cisco Unity subscriber mailboxes will be homed in Exchange 2007, Exchange 2003, and/or Exchange 2000.
