New and Changed Requirements and Functionality
Release 6.0(600.0)
Jabber for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Release 6.0(600.0) is a maintenance release that contains fixes to defects and product enhancements. See the "Caveats" section for a list of these defects and enhancements.
This release also includes a functional change where we removed the first (pre-join) screen for invitees and combined it with the Join form. See CSCsz21139 for more details.
Release 6.0(102.0)
Jabber for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace requires the purchase of a Jabber integration option key. The option key must be entered on the Audio Server from the MeetingTime client before installing or upgrading to Jabber for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Release 6.0.
For instructions on entering the option key and installing or upgrading Jabber for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Release 6.0, see the DocWiki at http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/Cisco_Unified_MeetingPlace%2C_Release_6.x_--_Installing_or_Upgrading_Cisco_Unified_MeetingPlace_for_Jabber.

Installing Jabber for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Release 6.0 for the First Time
For instructions on installing Jabber for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Release 6.0, see the DocWiki at http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/Cisco_Unified_MeetingPlace%2C_Release_6.x_--_Installing_or_Upgrading_Cisco_Unified_MeetingPlace_for_Jabber.
Upgrading to Jabber for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Release 6.0
With Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Release 6.0, all Cisco Unified MeetingPlace integration components must be installed on a Cisco MCS server running a Microsoft Windows Server 2003-based Cisco MCS operating system. Changing the operating system from the Windows 2000 Server-based version to the Windows 2003-based version requires a new installation. Cisco does not support upgrading the operating system from the Windows 2000-based version to the Windows 2003-based version.
Although Jabber for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace is not installed on a Cisco MCS server, you must migrate the Web Server to Release 6.0 before upgrading Jabber. See the DocWiki at http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/Cisco_Unified_MeetingPlace%2C_Release_6.x_--_Installing_or_Upgrading_Cisco_Unified_MeetingPlace_for_Jabber.
