This chapter contains the procedures you perform to configure the hardware options for the Cisco TelePresence Series TX9000 and TX9200 systems and includes the following sections:

•Upgrading a TX9000 System to a TX9200 System

•Converting a System with a Wall-Mounted Reflector Wall to a System with a Free-Standing Reflector Wall

•Converting a System with a Free-Standing Reflector Wall to a System with a Wall-Mounted Reflector Wall

Upgrading a TX9000 System to a TX9200 System

You can upgrade an existing system from a TX9000 to a TX9200 by using the Cisco-provided upgrade kit. The part number for the upgrade kit is CTS-TX9200-UPG.

To order this upgrade kit, contact Customer Service 1-800-553-6387. To complete the upgrade, perform the following actions:

Step 1 Make sure that your room fulfills the minimum requirements. For room requirement information, refer to the "Room Requirements for the Cisco TelePresence System TX9000 and TX9200" chapter of the Cisco TelePresence System TX9000 and TX9200 Assembly, First-Time Setup, and Field-Replaceable Unit Guide at the following URL:

Step 2 Install the second row table by completing the steps in the "Installing the Second Row Table - TX9200 Systems Only" chapter of the Cisco TelePresence System TX9000 and TX9200 Assembly, First-Time Setup, and Field-Replaceable Unit Guide at the following URL:

Converting a System with a Wall-Mounted Reflector Wall to a System with a Free-Standing Reflector Wall

You can convert a system with a wall-mounted reflector wall to one with a Free-standing reflector wall. The part number for this upgrade kit is CTS-TX9K-WMFS-KIT=.

To order this upgrade kit, contact Customer Service 1-800-553-6387. To complete the upgrade, perform the following actions:

Step 1 Remove the wall-mounted reflector wall and the reflector panels. Refer to the "Installing the Wall-Mounted Reflector Wall Structure" chapter of the Cisco TelePresence System TX9000 and TX9200 Assembly, First-Time Setup, and Field-Replaceable Unit Guide at the following URL to complete this step:

Perform the steps in reverse. Removal is the opposite of assembly.

Caution Save the panels and do not damage the panels when you remove them. Use gloves and moving blankets when handling the panels.

Step 2 Assemble the free-standing reflector wall by completing the steps in the "Installing the Free-Standing Reflector Wall Structure" chapter of the of the Cisco TelePresence System TX9000 and TX9200 Assembly, First-Time Setup, and Field-Replaceable Unit Guide at the following URL:

Converting a System with a Free-Standing Reflector Wall to a System with a Wall-Mounted Reflector Wall

You can convert a system with a Free-standing reflector wall to one with a wall-mounted reflector wall. The part number for this upgrade kit is CTS-TX9K-FSWM-KIT=.

To convert a system with a wall-mounted reflector wall to a system with a free-standing reflector, complete the following steps:

Step 1 Remove the free-standing reflector wall and the reflector panels. Refer to the "Installing the Free-Standing Reflector Wall Structure" chapter of the of the Cisco TelePresence System TX9000 and TX9200 Assembly, First-Time Setup, and Field-Replaceable Unit Guide at the following URL to complete this step:
