Procedure
Step 1
Determine the correct height to install the wall plate (wall mount bracket). Use one of the following calculations:
•
If the CTS-500-37 will be primarily used by a single user, and that user is available, measure the user's eye level while they are seated. Then refer to Figure 3-1 to calculate the correct wall mount height.
Tip
The display is at the correct height when the user's eye level is at approximately 70 percent of the total height of the display screen.
•
If the user is not available, or if the CTS-500-37 will be used by multiple persons, refer to Figure 3-2 for the generic wall mount height.
Figure 3-1 Wall-Mount Vertical Height Guidelines With the User's Seated Eye Height
Figure 3-2 Generic Wall-Mount Vertical Height Guidelines
Step 2
Attach the wall mount to the wall using the instructions that are provided with the wall mount kit.
Step 3
Locate carton 3 (CTS-500-DISP37-INT). This carton contains the display.
Step 4
Remove the cardboard from the top and sides of the carton 3 packaging, but do not remove the display from the carton.
Step 5
Remove the buttons from the rear of the display.
Note
Save the screws; you use the screws when you attach the interface bracket to the display.
Step 6
Attach the interface bracket to the display using the screws that you removed in Step 5 and the spacers that are provided in the wall mount kit. Detailed instructions are provided in the wall mount kit.
Step 7
Attach the mounting cup to the interface bracket using the screws that are provided in the wall mount kit. Detailed instructions are provided in the wall mount kit.
Step 8
Remove the display top rear cover from the display.

Step 13
Remove the mounting bracket that is closest to the power inlet and power switch from the codec by unfastening the four screws.
Note
This bracket is referred to as the left bracket in the following steps; this side of the codec is the left side during assembly of your CTS-500-37.
Figure 3-7 Removing the Handle/Mounting Bracket (Power Inlet/Left side)
Step 14
Insert the tab of the rear cover in the slot between the right handle/mounting bracket and the codec.
Figure 3-8 Rear Cover and Right Handle/Mounting Bracket
Step 15
Insert the lower part of the right handle/mounting bracket into the mounting base, making sure that the notched part of the base hooks under the handle.
Tip
To facilitate installation of the codec to the mounting base, place the codec on its side on a table so that the lower part of the codec hangs over the edge of the table. Do not scratch the table or the codec during installation.
Figure 3-9 Right Handle/Mounting Bracket and Mounting Base
Step 16
Reattach the left handle/mounting bracket to the codec assembly by refastening the four screws.
Figure 3-10 Left Handle/Mounting Bracket and Codec Assembly
Step 17
Connect the cable bundle to the codec as follows:
•
Connect the Ethernet cable from the display to the white camera Ethernet connection.
•
