This first-of-its-kind platform offers converged wired, wireless, and security policy management in a single solution for faster troubleshooting and more efficient network operations. It provides complete visibility into endpoint connectivity, regardless of device, network, or location.

Features and Capabilities

Cisco Prime NCS delivers visibility and diagnosis of access infrastructure devices, including Cisco access switches, Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers, and Cisco Aironet access points. With this system, you can centrally manage the Cisco Mobility Services Engine (MSE) with support for the Cisco Adaptive Wireless Intrusion Prevention System (wIPS), Cisco Context-Aware Software, and Cisco CleanAir technology.

Built on the Cisco Wireless Control System (WCS) feature set, Cisco Prime NCS:

  • Facilitates visibility of user attributes, posture, and profile through integration with the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
  • Allows wireless lifecycle management so that IT staff may design and maintain optimal RF environments
  • Offers an intuitive user experience to eliminate complexity, improve IT productivity, and minimize staffing requirements
