The Cisco® Aironet® 1130AG Series Access Point is an IEEE 802.11a/b/g fixed-configuration, dual-band access point. Built in to the access point are two radios, each with diversity antennas that provide omnidirectional coverage. The Cisco Aironet 1130G Series Access Point provides single-band 802.11g wireless connectivity. Both series are designed for wireless LAN coverage in offices and similar RF environments.

The Cisco Aironet 1130AG and Aironet 1130G support local power as well as Power over Ethernet (PoE), either by an IEEE 802.3af-compliant Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) device, such as a switch, or by a device capable of providing 12.95W to a powered device and compliant with Cisco Inline Power. Both the Cisco Aironet 1130AG and Aironet 1130G include a console port for management.
The Cisco Aironet 1130AG and Aironet 1130G ship with the following:

• Access point

• Cisco IOS Software or Cisco Lightweight Access Point Protocol (LWAPP)1

• Mounting plate, security hasp, pair of ceiling tile clips, and hardware accessory package

• Documentation

The power supply and power cord also ship with the access point unless you chose not to receive these items when you placed your order. Refer to the section "Power Supply".

Eco Packs

To reduce product packaging and preserve the environment, the Cisco Aironet 1130AG may be ordered in a 10 quantity Eco packs that ship with the following:

• Access Point: quantity 10 units

• Cisco IOS® Software or Cisco Lightweight Access Point Protocol (LWAPP)

• Mounting plate, security hasp, pair of ceiling tile clips, and hardware accessory package: quantity 10 units

• Documentation: 1 set of documents

Note: For customers that require local power, Power supplies and power cords are not included with the bulk package and need to be ordered as a separate line item.

The Cisco Aironet 1130AG and Aironet 1130G are available in several stock keeping units (SKUs), identifying a particular regulatory domain (Tables 1 and 2). Each version provides a unique combination of channel and power settings that are compliant with local government regulations.

Power Supply

The Cisco Aironet 1130AG and Aironet 1130G ship with a 100- to 240-VAC power supply that provides 48 VDC to locally power the access point. Table 3 lists the part numbers associated with Cisco Aironet power supply options.
To receive the power supply with the access point, no action is required. You may select the "AIR-PWR-A" option under the "Power Supply" category, or you may take no action for this option category.
The Cisco Aironet 1130AG and Aironet 1130G can alternatively be configured during ordering to ship without the power supply. Customers who intend to power the access point from an inline power-capable switch would not require the power supply. Note: Customers planning to use the Cisco Aironet Power Injector will still require the power supply.
To have the access point ship without the power supply, select "AIR-NO-PWR-SUPPLY" under the "Power Supply" category. Do not choose this option if you need the power supply for the access point or for a power injector.
Note that the list prices for the Cisco Aironet 1130AG and Aironet 1130G remain the same, regardless of whether you select a power supply.

Power Injector

A Cisco Aironet power injector can be configured to order, or can be ordered as a separate item (Table 5). If the power injector is configured to your order, it will ship inside the packaging box of the access point. If the power injector is ordered as a separate item, it will ship in a separate box.
The power injector does not come with a power supply. Instead, it uses the power supply from the access point. If you intend to use the power injector, be sure that the power supply will be included with your access point, either by selecting the "AIR-PWR-A" option under the "Power Supply" category, or by taking no action for that category. Do not select "AIR-NO-PWR-SUPPLY" for the "Power Supply" category.
The power injector can be ordered separately. If you previously ordered the access point without a power supply, you will now need to order a spare power supply to use the power injector. Refer to Table 4 for power supply spare part numbers.
