About the Cisco Networking Academy

The Cisco Networking Academy is a superior education program in the field of networking and information and communications technologies. Competition

The competition is targeted at challenging our youth, their teachers and trainers to achieve high standards of competence in the IT and Networking fields, as well as to motivate young people to pursue further education and training relevant IT.

Contest Format
NetRiders task solving is divided into a theoretical exam and hands on skills assessment.
The theoretical part requires students to pass an exam which tests their knowledge of basic network technology concepts.
The skills based part of the competition is focused on the physical layer of the network, the connection and configuration of the network components and their troubleshooting.
The content of these parts of the competition is strictly based on the curriculum content of the Cisco Networking Academy CCNA (Discovery 1-4 or Exploration 1-4)
