Este documento explica o procedimento passo a passo para promover a imagem do software nos Series Switch do Catalyst 6000/6500 que executam o Catalyst Operating System (Cactos) no supervisor, Cisco IOS® no software do sistema MSM/MSFC e de Cisco IOS. A atualização da imagem do software é necessária quando:
Você deseja implementar novos recursos em sua rede que estão disponíveis na nova versão do software.
Você quer instalar uma nova placa de linha que não seja apoiada pela versão de software atual que você executa no interruptor.
Um bug conhecido afeta seu switch, e esse bug foi resolvido no software release seguinte.
Certifique-se de atender a estes requisitos antes de tentar esta configuração:
Verifique as exigências da memória e ROM da bota.
Transfira uma imagem de software válida.
Instale o servidor TFTP em seu PC.
Suporte a configuração de switch e a imagem do software atuais.
Este documento não se restringe a versões de software e hardware específicas.
As informações neste documento foram criadas a partir de dispositivos em um ambiente de laboratório específico. CatOS no supervisor e Cisco IOS no MSFC (Híbrido):
Você pode usar uma imagem de cactos enquanto o software do sistema a fim executar o supervisor no Catalyst 6500/6000 comuta. Se o Multilayer Switch Feature Card (MSFC) opcional é instalado, use uma imagem IOS Cisco separada a fim executar o MSFC.

O comando show version indica a versão da BootROM, o DRAM instalados e o tamanho do bootflash em seu interruptor. Emita o comando show version no Switches do Catalyst 6000/6500 que executa Cactos.

Nota: O supervisor 720 não tem uma elevação ROM da bota disponível atualmente.
Transfira a imagem do Cactos Software no PC que atua como o servidor TFTP antes da elevação da imagem real. Você pode transferir a imagem do software do centro do software de switching do Cisco LAN (clientes registrados somente). Veja a diferença entre Cactos e seção do software do sistema do Cisco IOS para obter mais informações sobre de Cactos e de Cisco IOS Software.
O exemplo de saída neste documento usa uma instalação de um Cisco TFTP server em um PC que execute o ™ Windows 2000 Professional de Microsoft. Você pode usar um servidor de TFTP que pode ser instalado em qualquer plataforma. Você não precisa utilizar um PC com um sistema operacional Windows.
Transfira e instale todo o software de shareware TFTP do Internet no PC que você usa a fim copiar a imagem do Cactos Software ao interruptor. O diretório de raiz do servidor TFTP deve ser o diretório no qual se faz o download da imagem do software. Você pode fazer download das imagens para o diretório raiz padrão do servidor TFTP ou mudar o caminho do diretório raiz para o diretório em que a imagem do software reside. Para o Cisco TFTP server, você pode mudar o diretório raiz do Visualizar Menu > Opções.
Nota: Este documento foi redigido quando o Cisco TFTP server estava disponível para a transferência com o centro de software. A Cisco não suporta mais o servidor de TFTP Cisco. Se você usa o Cisco TFTP server, desabilite a função de registro para impedir os logs excessivos, que podem interromper o processo TFTP.
A fim desabilitar a abertura do Cisco TFTP server, termine estas etapas:
Escolha o Visualizar Menu > Opções.
Cancele a seleção do registro Enable.
Clique em OK.
Nota: Note que registrar está permitido à revelia.
Conecte um cabo do console entre a porta de Console do interruptor e o PC a fim alcançar o comando line interface(cli) do interruptor. Refira a conexão de um terminal à porta de Console em Catalyst Switches a fim alcançar o CLI com o HyperTerminal.
Nota: Você pode fazer o upgrade do switch com acesso remoto via Telnet. Mas, você perder a conectividade telnet quando os reloads do interruptor durante o upgrade de software. Você pode restabelecer a sessão de Telnet quando o interruptor carrega com a imagem nova. Mas, a fim pesquisar defeitos em caso da falha, você deve ter o acesso de console local. Cisco recomenda uma elevação do interruptor com o acesso de console.
Execute um backup da configuração de switch e da imagem do software atual ao PC que executa o servidor TFTP. Se seu procedimento de upgrade falha devido às razões tais como a memória insuficiente ou o não bastante espaço no bootflash do interruptor apoiar a imagem nova, você pode sempre recuperar o interruptor ao modo normal com a mesma imagem que estou presente no interruptor. Se você perder a configuração do switch por qualquer razão, sempre será possível restaurar a configuração a partir do servidor TFTP. No Switches do Catalyst 6000/6500 que executa o Cisco IOS Software, você pode emitir o copy startup-config tftp ou o bootflash do copy startup-config: comandos a fim copiar ou backup a configuração ao servidor TFTP ou ao bootflash. Se você altera sua configuração, certifique-se emitir o comando write memory a fim copiar a configuração atual à configuração de inicialização e executar o backup. É possível emitir o flash de inicialização da cópia: comando tftp a fim copiar as imagens do software atual do bootflash ao servidor TFTP. Se você quer copiar as imagens do software atual da placa de flash externa ao servidor TFTP, você pode usar o slot 0 da cópia: comando tftp no Supervisor Engine 1 ou em 2. No Supervisor Engine 720, use o disco 0 da cópia: tftp ou disco1 da cópia: comandos tftp.
Nota: Mostras inválidas ou não atuais da memória de configuração não volátil de %% do Mensagem de Erro se o arquivo de configuração de inicialização está encontrado vazio pelo interruptor quando a cópia ou o backup do arquivo de configuração estiverem tomados. Emita a memória ou o comando copy run start da escrita antes que você tome o backup do arquivo de configuração a fim evitar este erro.
O Supervisor Engine 1 e os 2 do interruptor do Catalyst 6000/6500 apoiam um entalhe para a placa Flash da associação de indústria da placa de memória do computador (PCMCIA) quando o Supervisor Engine 720 apoiar 2 entalhes. Se você tem a placa flash de PCMCIA instalada em seu interruptor, você tem a escolha para copiar a imagem do software nova no bootflash ou na placa flash de PCMCIA.
Este procedimento usa o bootflash. Se você usa a placa flash de PCMCIA, substitua o bootflash: palavra nos comandos all com slot 0: quando você usar o Supervisor 1 ou os 2, ou o disco 0: /disco1: quando você usar o supervisor 720.
Assegure-se de que você verifiquem a memória/exigências ROM da bota, tenha o servidor TFTP em seu PC, e o console do interruptor alcançado da porta de Console do interruptor. Se você não está pronto com esta instalação, veja seção de requisito ROM da memória e da bota da verificação.
Configurar o endereço IP de gerenciamento (sc0) e verifique a Conectividade entre o interruptor e o PC em que o servidor TFTP é instalado. Este exemplo de cenário usa o endereço IP 10.10.10.1 para o gerenciamento de switch (sc0) e o endereço IP 10.10.10.2 para o servidor TFTP.

Copie a imagem do software nova no bootflash do servidor TFTP e verifique se a imagem é copiada corretamente. Verifique se o tamanho do arquivo da imagem nova combina exatamente o tamanho mencionado no centro de software no cisco.com. Se há uma diferença, verifique se a imagem esteja corrompida durante transferência. Transfira a imagem outra vez a fim assegurar-se de que o interruptor não entre no modo ROMMON após o reload.
Nota: PC que executam o OS de Microsoft Windows podem indicar o tamanho do arquivo diferentemente do que o tamanho real. Clicar com o botão direito no nome de arquivo e escolha propriedades a fim verificar o tamanho do arquivo real nos bytes.

No Supervisor Engine 720, se você usa a placa flash de PCMCIA, substitua o bootflash da palavra: nos comandos all deste procedimento com disco 0: ou disco1:.
Termine estas etapas a fim promover a imagem do software:
Verifique se você tem bastante espaço disponível no disco 0: para copiar a imagem nova do servidor TFTP no disco 0. Você pode verificar o tamanho da imagem nova no PC que hospeda o arquivo.

Suprima da imagem atual no disco 0: com o comando delete disk0:cat6000-sup720k8.8-3-3.bin. Emita então o disco 0 do aperto: comande a fim apagar todos os arquivos apagados do dispositivo. Este passo é opcional.

Se há uma diferença, verifique se a imagem se torne corrompida durante transferência. Transfira a imagem outra vez a fim assegurar-se de que o interruptor não entre no modo ROMMON após o reload.
Nota: Este procedimento usa um servidor FTP, e não havia nenhum problema durante transferência de imagem.

Para resolver o problema, siga estes passos:
Vá ao modo de monitor de rom (ROMMON).
Carreg manualmente a imagem com bootflash.
Verifique se o tamanho da imagem no slot 0 seja o mesmo que o tamanho da imagem transferido do servidor TFTP.
Se o tamanho da imagem é o mesmo, formate o slot 0 ou o disco 0, e transfira uma imagem nova do servidor TFTP com o comando copy.
Nota: Não é possível copiar arquivos múltiplos em um comando único.
Verifique se a imagem esteja transferida diretamente do TFTP ao slot 0 ou transferida a um cartão ATA e copiada então dos cartões ATA ao slot 0. Se a imagem foi transferida diretamente aos cartões ATA, formate os cartões ATA antes que você transfira a imagem do servidor TFTP.
O config-register value para o SP no supervisor é ajustado a 0x2142. O "4" indica a configuração do sistema da ignorância. O RP ROMMON tem o valor de 0x2102.
Devido a este ajuste, o código de rotas máximo ignora o valor que vem da configuração que é rotas máximas não-padrão. Uma vez que ignorado, há uma má combinação entre os valores configurados aos valores carregados, isto faz com que o roteador recarregue.
Como a ação alternativa, configurar o config-register value a 0x2102 no SP com os comandos dados abaixo.
