Louie Castaneda
Country Manager - Sales

Louie is the country manager for Cisco in the Philippines and is responsible for the sales and marketing activities in the country.

He joined Cisco in 2009 as the manager of channel operations and since then, Louie has expanded his portfolio to include leadership roles in the enterprise, public sector and mid-market teams.

Louie has more than 25 years of experience in the Philippines IT industry and his prior experience includes directorship with the SMB Solutions and Partners division at Microsoft Philippines and as the FBI Sales Manager at Oracle. His extensive knowledge and professional network within the IT industry is a result of his previous roles with Fujitsu, James Martin &nCo., IBM Philippines, AzureTechnologies Philippines and Automation Mainstream Inc. where he was the vice-president and general manager.

Louie is an Electronics and Communications Engineer with an MBA from De La Salle University, Manila. He is also a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) in Licensing for Small and Medium Business.

Chief Technology Officer, APJ

Dave West leads the Architectures Business in Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ), which includes all the sales, solutions and engineering teams that are part of Cisco’s business units - Enterprise Networking, Data Center, Collaboration and Security.

Dave has over 25 years of experience in the ICT industry, sixteen of which at Cisco. His deep experience and knowledge position Dave as one of the greatest advocates of Cisco’s technologies and networking business, which he continues to lead in the APJ region. Dave also nurtures close relationships with customers and partners, yielding a strong vision and understanding of the market transitions that need to be delivered in Cisco’s architecture and solution offerings.

Before reallocating to Asia, Dave West was the CTO for Cisco’s Worldwide Partner Organization, where he was responsible for working with partners to enable technical excellence in the partner technical community.

During his time at Cisco, Dave has held other key leadership roles, including: Sr. Director, Public Sector Systems Engineering and Architectures leading the systems engineers and managers supporting Federal, State and Local Government, Education; Director, Center of Excellence for Public Sector Solutions; Senior Manager, Systems Engineering, Department of Defense and Intelligence; Senior Manager, Advanced Technologies, responsible for voice, security, optical, and wireless engineering and presales support for federal customers and partners.

Dave is a former Marine Officer, graduated from the Virginia Military Institute. He holds an MS in Information Systems from the Naval Postgraduate School.

Tim Snow

Consulting Systems Engineer

Tim Snow brings over 18 years of experience in infrastructure design and information security. His responsibilities at Cisco during the past 12 years as a Security Architect include architectural and detailed consultative solutions to Enterprise and SP customers in the area of Network and Information Security Systems. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, multiple Cisco CCIE’s and other vendor neutral certifications.

Vipul Shah

Regional Director, Asia Pacific & Japan

Vipul is currently responsible for Growth Businesses at Intel in the areas of Data Center, Cloud, Big-data/Analytics, Network Transformation and IOT with strategic OEM partners across Asia Pacific and Japan.

In his 19 year regional career at Intel, Vipul has held a breadth of roles notably:

  • Director of Channel, System Integrator and ODM Business Development in the areas of HPC, Storage, Mobility and SMB verticals

  • Distribution Revenue and Channel Sales across 40+ Distributors and 15000+ Channel partners

  • Regional Platforms and Technical Sales for pre-sales enablement, launch and ramp of major Intel products, platforms, solutions, software and services

  • Market & Business Development for Modular Communications, Compact PCI™, AdvancedTCA™, Carrier Grade Linux, Embedded and SA Forum initiatives at 3G Telecom & Network OEMs

  • Product Marketing Manager for Intel’s high-density Server Platforms, Xeon® Processors, Enterprise Caching and Security Appliances for the DOT.COM and Hosting Service Provider segments

  • Regional Technical Marketing lead for white-box & BYO platforms

Prior to Intel, he was with Compaq Computers managing their Enterprise Servers Systems Engineering efforts for the Asia Pacific region.

Outside of work, Vipul loves to walk (chalked up 1800kms over the last 9 months), spend quality time with family and is an aspiring “maker”.

Vipul holds an honors degree in Electronics & Computer Engineering from the University of Bombay.

Cristian Raducanu is a Product Line Manager in the Wireless group at Cisco. He leads a variety of products and initiatives with a focus on smaller deployments challenges and specialized products like wall-plate or teleworker access points. He manages a number of Cisco wireless solutions and products, including Mobility Express, AP1800 Series, and AP700 Series. Cristian has been at Cisco since 2012 and holds a Masters in Business Administration from The Fuqua School of Business, Duke University.

Vanessa Joy Pascua is the Product Sales Specialists - Cisco’s Enterprise and Datacenter Networking from Trends & Technologies, Inc.With over 10 years of experience in handling Cisco products, Vanessa is a veteran expert in terms of overall knowledge of Cisco under Trends.

Vanessa was a Systems Engineer and Technical Manager for Trends since 2007 before progressing her way to becoming the Product Sales Specialist for Cisco Enterprise and Datacenter Networking early last year.As Trends’ Product Sales Specialist for Cisco, Vanessa constantly handles all products covering Enterprise and Datacenter Networking for all business verticals.

She also works on the existing Cisco pipeline and identifies new net opportunities while driving sales cycle together with Trends’ Account Management team.

In addition, she likewise plans sales strategies, develop proposals, deliver customer presentations and helping customers integrate, scale and manage solutions easily.Moreover, she’s been involved as well in winning small to large and complex projects of Trends. One of her best working traits is her ability to adapt and learn about the specific needs customers before effectively applying enterprise and data center networking solutions from Cisco.

Raj has been with Cisco for over 14 years in various roles including Strategic Partnerships and Data Center Group, focusing on solutions with Customers and Partners by leveraging new technologies. Raj has over 25 years of Information Technology experience.

He came on board Cisco with the acquisition of Sourcefire and brings with him more than 10 years of experience in the Security Information Industry

A graduate of Electronics and Communications Engineering, Brian has various security product certifications and is also a certified ethical hacker.

Alfred Tan works in Cisco as the Sales Director of Operations and leads the Data Center & Cloud sales across ASEAN countries. With over 22 years of experience. Alfred is experienced in both Enterprise and Commercials sales and has led various senior roles in technical, consulting and managerial positions. Alfred graduated as an engineer with a research focus in semiconductor electronics and continues to be keen how Information Technology digitizes business today.


Bob Batchelor
APJ Regional Manager, Cisco Hyper-Converged Infrastructure

Bob has over 29 years IT experience with Tier 1 vendors, starting his career in Customer Service as a Mainframe Engineer and quickly moving to Worldwide Technical Support for Data Centre Infrastructure. He has held Technical, Sales and Management roles in Europe and Asia supporting, architecting and providing IT solutions to assist Customers and Partners to meet their business objectives on time and in budget. For the last 9 years Bob has worked within the Cisco Data Centre organisation representing Cisco’s latest technology infrastructure innovation to the APJ market.


John Paul Reyes

John Paul Reyes joined Schneider Electric in 2012, as the Country Sales Manager for Schneider’s IT Business division.
