Software Features Introduced in Cisco IOS XR Software Release 6.1.4

No new software features are introduced in this release. However, this release supports software features released untill Cisco IOS XR Release 6.1.3

  • Support for polling the Inphi Firmware version through SNMP is introduced.

  • Support for Global MACsec protocol shutdown is introduced. This feature reverts MacSec fallback key without any packet loss.

  • A new show-tech custom [source-file] command is introduced in this release. This command executes list of commands specified in the source file and collects debugging information.

  • LLDP is supported on the management interface. You must configure lldp management enable command in LLDP config mode to enable LLDP support on the management interface.

  • MACSec Always Negotiated Fallback key option is introduced.

  • The maximum number of bundles supported on NCS 5500 is 256 bundles. Prior to this release NCS 5500 supported only 128 bundles.
