Cisco Network Insights Advisor (NIA) application consists of a pair of monitoring utilities that can be added to the Cisco Data Center Network Manager (DCNM).

The Cisco NIR application supports Cisco DCNM 11.2(1) and 11.3(1) release. It is recommended to use the latest Cisco DCNM release.

■ Cisco NIA app retains the collected logs using TAC Assist for 24 hours.
■ Cisco NIA app retains the collected technical support information using bug scan for 24 hours.
■ TAC Assist started from Cisco NIA 1.0.4 App will not show up in Cisco NI Base and vice versa.
■ When the Device Connector is unclaimed from the on-premise GUI application, the Device Connector must be unclaimed from Intersight for TAC Assit’s connected TAC functionality to work.
■ User initiated upload to Cisco Intersight Cloud fails if the TAC Assist job completed prior to Cisco DCNM HA failover. It is recommended to start a new TAC Assist job after Cisco DCNM HA failover.
■ Uprade from Cisco NIA 1.0.3 to Cisco NIA 1.0.4 App on Cisco DCNM is supported.
■ Cisco NIA is not supported on the following:
— Cisco Nexus 9500 Series switches with -R line cards
— Cisco Nexus 3600 Series switches
