Cisco Unified Intelligence Center (Unified IC) is a web-based graphical user interface that provides real-time and historical reporting and customizable dashboards. This document describes how to import stock reports and other reports in the Unified IC reporting application.
Cisco recommends that you have knowledge of these topics:
The information in this document is based on the Cisco Unified IC 8.5(3).
The information in this document was created from the devices in a specific lab environment. All of the devices used in this document started with a cleared (default) configuration. If your network is live, make sure that you understand the potential impact of any command.
Refer to Cisco Technical Tips Conventions for more information on document conventions.
Complete these steps in order to import the stock reports and other reports in Unified IC:
Log in to the Cisco Unified IC application, and click the Reports drawer. The Available Reports page opens.
Click Import Report.
Note: This function is used to import stock reports and the related help files that are saved locally, into Cisco Unified IC. The report that you want to import must be stored in a ZIP file along with the help content. In order to understand the format for storing the report and help content, refer to the Importing Stock Reports and Other Reports section of the document User Guide for the Cisco Unified Intelligence Center Reporting Application 8.5(3).
In the page which opens, click Browse in order to navigate to the file name and select the template ZIP file which is stored locally.
Note: You can import multiple reports in a *.zip file.
Choose the Data Source from the drop-down menu.
Click Save To, and navigate to the report category folder into which you want to categorize the imported template(s).
Click Import. If your Available Reports page already contains a report template with the same name as the report you are trying to import, you see a prompt asking if you want to overwrite it.
Click Refresh on the Reports page in order to see the imported report. You can see that the data from imported reports are extracted from the ZIP file and saved as configuration data in the Unified IC database.
Refer to the document User Guide for the Cisco Unified Intelligence Center Reporting Application 8.5(3) for more information.
There is an issue logging into Cisco Unified IC after an upgrade is performed.
This issue can occur when SSL is enabled on the domain controllers. In this instance, Cisco Unified IC is unable to obtain the NETBIOS domain. In order to resolve this issue, upgrade to Cisco Unified IC version 8.5(4). This is documented in Cisco bug ID CSCts28701 (registered customers only) .
