The Cisco ASA 5500-X security appliance might reboot when it authenticates the AnyConnect VPN client.
An Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) software issue can cause the ASA 5500-X security appliance to reboot while AnyConnect two-factor authentication with Duo Security is in progress.
The ASA 5500-X security appliance reboots when it authenticates the AnyConnect client.
Cisco recommends that you upgrade the ASA 5500-X security appliance to ASA software version 9.8.2 or later.
Updated ASA software versions that address this issue are available from Cisco Software Central for customers with a valid service contract.
