Optimize Your Business Critical Traffic

Cisco Application Visibility and Control (AVC) provides application-level classification, monitoring, and traffic control to improve the performance of business-critical applications. It is supported on the Cisco Integrated Services Routers Generation 2 (ISR G2) and the Cisco ASR 1000 Series Aggregation Service Routers (ASR 1000s). The Cisco AVC solution facilitates capacity planning and ongoing optimization, while reducing network operating costs.

The Cisco AVC Solution helps you:

  • Identify and classify over 1,000 on-premise and cloud applications
  • Monitor application response time, latency, jitter, and other performance metrics
  • Export application performance metrics with Cisco IOS NetFlow v9 or IP Information export (IPFIX)
  • Set different priorities and dynamically choose network paths based on application and business needs
