Intermediate Consignee Definition


The intermediate consignee:

  • is the party who takes temporary possession for the purpose of effecting delivery of the product or software to the ultimate consignee (e.g. freight forwarder, project consolidation, configuration center);
  • is not present in all transactions;
  • is not the ship to or the end user.
