Cisco Base is a service offering that provides support for Cisco operating system (OS) software. Customers receive access to software updates within their licensed OS feature set and technical support for Cisco OS software. Support includes registered access to the software selection and other OS-related technical assistance tools available on Cisco.com, and access to Cisco TAC engineers who can assist with OS-related support issues. Cisco Base does not include hardware-related technical support or advance hardware replacement.
Cisco Base may only be ordered for Cisco devices located in Canada, the European Union (27 Member States), Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and the United States.
