The CiscoWorks Management Center for IDS Sensors is management software for the configuration of Network IDS and Switch IDS sensors. The software allows you manage multiple sensors concurrently by creating sensor groups and thereby saving time for the administrator. The software also provides an easy to use web interface and wizards to reduce the learning time. The Management Center for IDS Sensors also delivers the capability to create new signatures so that administrators can more accurately detect threats, and the capability to edit signatures to reduce false positives.
