Catalyst 3512, 3524, 3548 XL Switches Cisco announces the end-of-sale of CatalystŪ 3512 XL, 3524 XL, 3548 XL Switches, including multi-pack units. The last order date is July 27, 2002. The replacement products are the Cisco Catalyst 3550 and 2950 Series Intelligent Ethernet switches. The new products make it more affordable than ever to deploy Layer 2-4 intelligent services at the network edge. Catalyst 3524-PWR XL Cisco Systems announces the end of life of the Cisco CatalystŪ 3524-PWR Series XL Switch. The last day to order the Cisco Catalyst 3524-PWR XL Switch will be August 12, 2003. Customers are encouraged to migrate to the Cisco Catalyst 3550-24 PWR Intelligent Ethernet Switch, which provides all of the advanced Layer 2-4 intelligent services available in the Catalyst 3550 Series along with integrated inline power functionality. These announcements do not affect the Catalyst 3508G XL switch, which will continue to be sold and supported by Cisco.
