The Cisco MGC (Media Gateway Controller) Node Manager provides a single management platform for fault, configuration, performance and security management. It manages the Cisco PGW 2200 PSTN Gateway and the Cisco SC2200 Signaling Controller. Cisco MGC Node Manager integrates access to all signaling components, effectively representing them as an SS7 node to the network operator. Managed devices are displayed individually and as a logical node grouping on the element management system, making it easier to manage the components that make up a voice-over-IP (VoIP) call agent node as a single entity.
The Cisco Voice Services Provisioning Tool (VSPT) provides an integrated provisioning graphical user interface for the Cisco PGW 2200 PSTN Gateway, the Cisco Billing and Measurement Server (BAMS), and the Cisco MGX 8000 Carrier Voice Gateway, enabling the effective deployment of comprehensive and flexible voice services.
