QoS Policy Manager (QPM) was launched in 1999 as part of the CiscoAssure policy management initiative, which also included Cisco Secure Policy Manager and Cisco Network Registrar.

Information on these policy management products are now available directly at sites for each of these products, and are no longer centralized under the CiscoAssure link.
