The Cisco ONS 15454 ML-Series consists of two interface cards, models ML100T-12 and ML 1000-2. The ML100T-12 is a twelve-port, 10/100Mbps Ethernet module. Both cards use the same base hardwared and software, providing the same layer-2 and layer-3 feature set. These single-slot cards can be installed in any of the 12 multiservice intterface slots iin an ONS 15454 shelf assembly and can be mixed and matched within the assembly or network to enable flexible architectures to meet the user's application. Each care has "virtual" omterfaces that are mapped tpo SONET/SDH optical interfaces for transport with other services between network elements over 155Mbps to optical line rates. Packet trasport bandwidth over the requirements, baxed upon overr-subscription requirements.
