First Production Versions of Cisco 12000 Series One-Port OC-192 Packet-over-SONET Line Card and Quad OC-48 Packet-over-SONET Line Card End-of-Life Announcement
Cisco Systems is announcing the end of life (EOL) for the first production versions of the Cisco 12000 Series One-Port OC-192 POS Line Card and Cisco 12000 Series Four-Port OC-48 POS Line Card. Both line cards have been replaced with newer versions based on the Enhanced Services engine that provides additional features and performance.
Table 1 lists the products and part numbers that will no longer be orderable as of August 12, 2002. Table 2 lists the newer line cards and associated part numbers that are available now and should be used in place of the products in Table 1 that have reached EOL.
