The 7960 supports features such as:

Footstand adjustment: Unlocks the phone base so you can adjust its angle.
Dialing pad: Press the dial pad buttons to dial a phone number. Dial pad buttons work exactly like those on your existing telephone.
Navigation button: Use this button to scroll through text and menu items on your LCD screen.
Soft Keys: Use soft keys to answer, end, and place calls, set up conference calls, redial a number, put a call on hold, and so on. Soft keys are context-sensitive.
Information Feature buttons:
-Messages button - Opens your voice mail message system.
-Services button - Opens your information services menu.
-Directory button - Opens your call history and corporate directories.
-Settings button - Allows you to change the ringer sound and LCD contrast.
-? button - Opens context-sensitive help. Press twice for instructions.
Headset, Mute and Speaker buttons : Use these buttons to toggle the associated feature on and off.
Volume buttons: Use the buttons to increase or decrease the volume of the ringer, handset, headset, and speakerphone.
? button: Opens context-sensitive help. Press twice for instructions.
Line or speed dial buttons: Press these buttons to open a new line, automatically dial an assigned phone number, or end a call.
LCD screen: This "desktop"
